Description: "No wonder that weather features so heavily in primitive theologies; it brings with it an infinite variance, a vast, local theatre where the fourth ceiling is broken and the players mingle with the audience, rendering them transformed. When I am amongst the Omaha, and they begin to boast about the lightning many generations ago, and how it cooked their ancestors into keener hunters, I must bite my tongue, and refrain from telling them about the Borealis, or the monsoon, or the "divine wind" of the Nipponese; how many weathers go unseen, and gods uninvented?"
